GATE 2023 application form correction process started at gate.iitk.ac.in

IIT Kanpur started the application form correction facility for GATE 2023 today, November 8, 2022. Read on to know how to make corrections and the last date.

GATE 2023 application form correction window activated: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has activated the GATE 2023 application form correction window today November 8, 2022. Candidates who have successfully submitted the GATE 2023 application form will be able to edit their application form online on the official website at gate.iitk.ac.in. Candidates will be able to make corrections in the application form of GATE 2023 latest by November 14, 2022. To edit the GATE application form 2023, candidates will be required to use their enrollment ID/email address and password.

Earlier, the GATE 2023 application form correction was scheduled to be started on November 4, 2022. However, the authorities have revised the date and the candidates can now make corrections in the GATE 2023 application form from today.

How to make corrections in the GATE 2023 application form?

Candidates can make corrections in the GATE 2023 application form by following the instructions below:

• Visit the official website at gate.iitk.ac.in.
• On the homepage, click the "GATE 2023 modification" link.
• Log in using your enrollment ID and password.
• Solve the arithmetic expression and click on the “Submit” button.
• Check the details mentioned on the GATE 2023 application form and make the required changes if you find any.
• In the end, do not forget to take a printout of the GATE 2023 application form for further use.

What details can be edited in the GATE 2023 application form?

IIT Kanpur has started the GATE 2023 application form correction process. Candidates can edit the following details using the application form correction facility:

• Gender
• Category
• PwD status
• Contact information for parents/guardians/correspondence address
• Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities
• Name and location of the college
• Roll number, and registration number
• Exam paper and exam city

Recently, IIT Kanpur dropped Ambajogai city in the IIT Bombay zone from the list of GATE 2023 exam centers. The decision has been made due to operational issues. Candidates who have selected Ambajogai as one of their preferred exam centers can opt for new city/cities in place of Ambajogai during the GATE 2023 application form correction period. Candidates will not be charged any fee for adding a new exam city in place of Ambajogai, However, while editing other details in the GATE application form, candidates will be required to pay a fee.

Candidates who will submit the GATE 2023 application form with the correct detail will be able to download their GATE 2023 admit card from January 3, 2022. The GATE 2023 exam will be held for 29 papers on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023.
