GATE 2024 registration last date tomorrow @gate2024.iisc.ac.in; Apply with late fee
Tomorrow is the last date to apply for GATE 2024 exam with a late fee. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
GATE 2024 registration started on August 30, 2023. Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru will close the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) registration tomorrow, October 20, 2023. To apply by tomorrow, the candidates need to pay an additional late fee of INR 500.
The application fee for female/SC/ST/PwD categories is INR 1400 (including late fees) and for other candidates including international applicants, it is INR 2300 (including late fees).
The GATE 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.
Steps to apply for GATE 2024 exam
Candidates must follow these simple steps to apply for the entrance examination:
- Go to the official site of IISc GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on registration link and enter the required details.
- Once the registration is done, login to the account.
- Fill the application form and make the payment of application fees.
- Click on submit and download the page.
- It is recommended to keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
About GATE 2024 Exam
It is an online national-level exam conducted for admissions to ME, and M.Tech. courses and direct PhD admissions in IITs, NITs, IIITs. There is no age limit defined to apply for the GATE exam. The candidates must have one of the following degrees - BE/BTech, BPharma, BArch, BSc (Research)/BS, Professional Society Examination (equivalent to BE/BTech/BArch), MSc/MA/MCA or equivalent, Integrated ME/MTech, Integrated MSc/Integrated BS-MS, and Integrated ME/MTech or Dual Degree (after Diploma or 10+2). The candidates in their third and fourth year are also eligible to apply for GATE 2024 exam.
