GATE Results 2023 to be out today

GATE Results 2023 to be out today. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is expected to announce results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023 results) today, March 16. According to the information available on the official website, GATE results will be declared after 4 pm. Candidates who appeared for GATE 2023 can login to the application portal on gate.iitk.ac.in and check their scores. Candidates can check their GATE results and qualifying status through the GOAP 2023 portal.

Candidates who qualify GATE 2023 are offered admission to master's and doctoral programmes in courses such as engineering, technology, architecture, science and arts. They also become eligible to be recruited at Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in the country.

How to check GATE result 2023

Candidates who appeared for GATE 2023 can follow the steps given below to view the qualifying status of GATE exam 2023.

  • Open the GOAPS 2023 portal on the official website, i.e. gate.iitk.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the direct link to check GATE 2023 results
  • Login using the enrollment id and password.
  • GATE exam result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout of GATE result for future reference.

GATE Results 2023 score to be computed on actual or raw scores

Candidates must note that IIT Kanpur will compute the GATE scores 2023 based on the actual or raw scores obtained by each candidate. As the number of candidates who appear for the GATE exam is large, the exam for some papers are held in multiple sessions. For multi-session papers, the raw marks obtained by the candidates in different sessions will be converted to normalized marks. Thus, raw marks (for single session papers) or normalized marks (for multi-session papers) will be used for computing the GATE score, based on the qualifying marks.

GATE 2023 was conducted on February 4, 5, 11 and 12 at test centres across the country. Provisional answer key of GATE was released on February 21 and the objection window was closed on February 25. The GATE 2023 final answer key and results are expected to be published together.
