GRID-INDIA to Recruit Executive Trainees in EE Through GATE 2025 Scores

GRID-INDIA has published a recruitment notification for executive trainees in Electrical Engineering using GATE 2025 scores on the official website of GATE- gate2025.iitr.ac.in The registration process will be activated after the GATE 2025 results. For more details, refer to the article below-

The registration of PSU-GRID-INDIA will be available soon after the declaration of the GATE 2025 result. The total number of vacancies to be filled through GATE 2025 is 37, which is tentative. The final number of vacancies, category-wise break-up, and reservation details will be published on the website. 

PSU: GRID-INDIA 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

The announcement of POWER GRID-INDIA recruitment using GATE 2025 scores has been published on GATE—gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The criteria details for GRID-INDIA recruitment through GATE is as follows -

• Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE 2025. 
• The upper age limit of the candidates must be 28 years as of July 31, 2025. (Candidates should have been born on or after August 1, 1997. 
• Candidates must have completed B.E/B.Tech / B.Sc in Engg / IDD from a recognised university in any of the following disciplines - Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical and Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical) with a minimum of 65% or equivalent. 
• Final-year students who expect their final results to be announced by August 14, 2025, are also eligible for the GRID-INDIA recruitment application. 

GRID-INDIA Selection Process Through GATE 2025 Scores

• The selection for the GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee Recruitment 2025 will be solely based on the GATE 2025 scores obtained in the Electrical Engineering Paper (EE), followed by a Group Discussion (GD), a Personal Interview (PI), and a Behavioral Assessment. 
• Qualified candidates will be shortlisted category-wise for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on their normalised marks out of 100 in the corresponding paper of GATE 2025 (EE). 
• Candidates will be informed about their status through their candidate login at GRID-INDIA’s online application system. Selected candidates can download their call letters and other documents from the portal.

POWER GRID-INDIA GATE 2025 Recruitment Application Fees 

• A non-refundable application fee of INR 500 must be paid online through the candidate's login.
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/Departmental Candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

At the time of group discussion/personal interview/joining at GRID-INDIA, candidates have to exhibit the following documents -

• GATE 2025 application form
• GATE 2025 admit card
• GATE 2025 scorecard

About GATE 2025

IIT Roorkee is conducting the GATE 2025 examination for 30 test papers for various disciplines, like engineering, technology, science, architecture, arts, and humanities. The GATE application form 2025 was released on August 28, 2024, and the last date to submit it was October 3, 2024 (without any late fee). However, candidates can still register for GATE till October 11, 2024, by paying a late fee of INR 500. The GATE 2025 exam is set to take place on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
