IIIT Delhi Invites Applications for BTech Admission

The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) has announced a range of scholarships available for students applying to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs for the academic year 2024-2025. One of the scholarships is the Chairman's Scholarship, which offers full or partial financial assistance to students based on their JEE Main ranks.

Those who rank below 1000 are eligible for a full (100%) scholarship, while those with ranks between 1000 and 2000 receive a 50% scholarship on tuition fees. The application deadline for all programs via the JAC Delhi admission mode is June 23, 2024. For the CSD and CSSS programmes through the IIIT-Delhi admission mode, the deadline is June 20, 2024.

IIIT Delhi Scholarships

IIIT-D has also introduced the Women Empowerment Scholarship in STEAM Education (WESSE). This scholarship aims to support academically outstanding female students by providing financial assistance covering 50% of their tuition fees. To qualify, students must rank among the top 100 female candidates in the 12th board exam with an aggregate score of over 95% and secure admission to any B.Tech program at IIIT-D.

Furthermore, IIIT-D offers the Merit cum Means Scholarship for students in their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years who are beneficiaries under the National Food Security Scheme. Additionally, in partnership with Fast Retailing Japan, IIIT-D presents the Fast Retailing Sponsorship Program. This initiative provides sponsored students with full coverage of tuition and dormitory fees for the duration of their B.Tech program.

IIIT Delhi Courses, Admissions and Placement

IIIT-D offers B.Tech programmes in a variety of specialisations, including Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (CSAM), Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CSAI), Computer Science and Biosciences (CSB), Computer Science and Design (CSD), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Computer Science and Social Sciences (CSSS), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), and Electronics and VLSI Engineering (EVE). These programs are designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the dynamic field of technology.

Those interested can apply for admission to IIIT-D based on their performance in JEE Main and other criteria specified by the institute. Additionally, admissions for all B.Tech programmes through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC-Delhi) are now open, with selection criteria primarily based on JEE Main ranks.
