Inspiring the Next Generation: IIIT-Delhi Student Volunteers

The student volunteers from IIIT-Delhi play a crucial role in the Summer Camp's success. These enthusiastic young adults contribute their expertise and passion for diverse subjects to the camp. Serving as mentors and facilitators, they lead workshops, activities, and interactive sessions, guiding participants along the way. Drawing from their own experiences and learnings, they establish a relatable connection with the school students, nurturing a supportive learning atmosphere.

Through a range of engaging activities, workshops, and sessions, Summer Camp IIITD seeks to instil a love for learning in young minds.  From the stage lights of theatre to the thrill of scientific discovery, our diverse program offers something for every interest.

Participants can get hands-on with arts and crafts, learn new athletic skills, or dive into exciting subjects like Abacus to AI and AstroGeo. Our Experimental Sciences module lets school students experience what it's like to be real scientists with interactive experiments. And with sessions on astronomy and geography, we bring the wonders of the universe and our planet to life right before their eyes.

"Years from now, you'll be successful. When someone asks what sparked your love of learning, you might be surprised to say 'IIIT-Delhi Summer Camp 2024!' Unlike some classrooms, IIIT-Delhi's 'Teach Like a Friend' and ‘Summer Camp’  motto creates a supportive space where your curiosity thrives. Here, Volunteers become your guides, helping you reach your full potential. Do not hesitate to ask questions, and use this opportunity wisely" - Mr Anand Kumar, Founder of Super 30.

“At IIIT-Delhi, we are committed to nurturing young minds and cultivating a passion for learning.  Our Summer Camp offers students the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, and acquire valuable experiences beyond the traditional classroom setting.” - Prof. Ranjan Bose, IIIT-Delhi.

Empowering Girls in STEM: The TLF Camp

A notable enhancement to this year's program is the thrilling TLF Camp tailored for girls in grades 9th to 12th. The TLF Camp offers a distinctive setting dedicated to academic reinforcement, mentorship, and personal growth, with a special emphasis on empowering girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines. Collaborating closely with IIIT-Delhi's academic department and the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), the TLF Camp delivers an immersive learning journey designed exclusively for girls.

Guided by committed female volunteers, students will participate in interactive sessions and workshops covering a range of subjects including General Knowledge, English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Mental Ability Test (MAT). They will explore areas such as Computer Science, Robotics, and Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC), alongside enjoying various fun zone and club-related activities. Inspirational talks, guest speakers, and workshops will facilitate networking opportunities and foster the development of crucial skills essential for academic and professional achievement.
