Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIITD) and The University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY Albany), have signed a Memorandum of Agreement, strengthening their commitment to global education, cultural exchange, and collaborative research initiatives. In the upcoming five years, the partnership will extend across diverse pivotal domains such as faculty enhancement, dual degree accords, visiting scholars initiatives, short-term academic and cultural immersions, cooperative research undertakings, and student exchange programs.
The agreement, signed by Prof. Havidán Rodríguez, President of SUNY Albany, and Prof. Ranjan Bose, Director of IIITD, emphasizes the mutual interests of both institutions in fostering international understanding and promoting faculty and student experiences. The signing of this agreement marks the foundation of a robust collaboration that holds the potential to shape the future of global education.
The collaborative spirit between the two universities is set to flourish as they explore diverse opportunities. These include faculty development, dual degree agreements, hosting visiting scholars, and facilitating short-term academic and cultural experiences, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and expertise.
Additionally, cooperative scientific and academic research projects are being envisioned, aimed at mutually beneficial outcomes.
