IISER Tirupati invites applications for PhD programmes
IISER Tirupati is offering PhD programmes in biology, chemistry and physics for the January 2023 session. Interested candidates can apply online by November 6, 2022.
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati has invited applications for admission to its PhD programmes for the January 2023 session. The registration process began on October 11, 2022. Interested candidates can apply online by November 6, 2022.
PhD programmes are offered in biology, chemistry and physics for the January 2023 session. Candidates must visit http://www.iisertirupati.ac.in/admissions/phd/# to check the eligibility criteria before applying for any PhD programme. Those with BS-MS Dual degree from any IISER are eligible for admission to all programmes.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD and KM category, the percentage of marks may be relaxed by 5% or 0.5 in the case of CGPA. Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree (as mentioned in the minimum criteria) are also eligible to apply. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and the final selection is based on interview performance. TA/DA will be provided to the SC/ST/PD students appearing for the interview as per institute norms.

As per the official website of IISER Tirupati, only candidates who do not possess any CSIR, DBT and INSPIRE, will be eligible for institute fellowship on par with CSIR, DBT etc., but without HRA and contingency components.
