During the ongoing campus placement drive at IIT Bhubaneswar, a total of 200 job offers has been extended to students within the initial 10 days. According to the placement officer, the most notable offer this year stands at Rs 64 lakh per annum, marking a significant milestone in the institute's placement history. 

Times of India reported that this offer not only represents the highest package for this year but also stands as the pinnacle achieved during any placement drive at IIT Bhubaneswar. Remarkably, the institute has conducted 12 placement drives since 2012, underlining the continuous pursuit of excellence in fostering career opportunities for its students.

As per the institute's recent announcement, students from IIT Bhubaneswar have successfully secured four international offers. The placement process at the institute commenced on December 1 and is scheduled to continue until July of the following year.

Throughout this year's placement drive, an extensive roster of companies including BPCL, HPCL, Reliance Industries, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Accenture Japan, Salesforce, and numerous Fortune 500 entities are actively engaging, presenting the students with a diverse spectrum of career prospects.

As per reports, Arun Kumar Pradhan, head of the institute’s career development cell, said, “Even though the global business scenario has slowed down affecting placements across the country, the drive at IIT Bhubaneswar is encouraging and gaining momentum.”
