IIT Bombay CSE cutoff 2024 increases; open category closing rank rises to 68

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA IIT Bombay CSE cutoff 2024 for Round 1. Candidates can now check the opening and closing ranks for admission through the JoSAA cutoff 2024 online at josaa.nic.in. Candidates who meet the cutoff of IIT Bombay CSE cutoff 2024 Round 1 will have higher chances of admission but are not guaranteed allotment. To prepare the IIT Bombay CSE 2024 cutoff, the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance exam.

Has the IIT Bombay CSE 2024 cutoff increased?

As per the official JoSAA 2024 cutoff for IIT Bombay CSE, the closing rank for admissions in the first round of counselling has increased. While most of the seats in the Female-only (including Supernumerary) category are in the similar cutoff range as the previous year’s IIT Bombay CSE cutoff, the gender-neutral category shows an increase in the closing ranks as well as opening ranks (in some categories).

For example, in the Open Category, students with the JEE Advanced 2024 rank of 68 are eligible for IIT Bombay CSE admissions. Comparatively in the previous year, the closing rank for the same category was 66. An increase in the closing rank of IIT Bombay CSE cutoff 2024 was also seen in EWS, SC and ST categories.

JoSAA 2024 Seat Allocation

JoSAA 2024 seat allocation for Round 1 has been announced online at josaa.nic.in. Candidates can now check their allotment status for JoSAA 2024 counselling Round 1 by logging in using their JEE Main application form number and password. Allotted candidates will have to confirm their allotment by paying the required fee online.
