Prof. Rohit Srivastava has been honoured with the prestigious 'Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar - Vigyan Shri' award by the Government of India. This accolade for the Institute includes a Medallion and Sanad, to be presented on August 23, 2024, at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, New Delhi starting at 4:15 PM.

The Government of India introduced the “Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar” to honour exceptional contributions in Science, Technology, and Innovation. This National Award recognizes outstanding achievements by researchers, technologists, and innovators. The award will be presented in thirteen domains: Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Mathematics & Computer Science, Earth Science, Medicine, Engineering Sciences, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Technology & Innovation, Atomic Energy, Space Science and Technology, and Others.
