IIT Delhi to offer training programme "Energy Systems, Security and Net Zero Emission"

IIT Delhi and ITEC are jointly offering a training programme "Energy Systems, Security and Net Zero Emission" from February 6 to February 17, 2023, read here for the details.

IIT Delhi to offer training programme

Indian Institutes of Technology Delhi and Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) are offering a training programme "Energy Systems, Security and Net Zero Emission" from February 6 to February 17, 2023.

As per the official notification, applicants are required to apply for the ITEC training program by filling up an application form and taking a printout of the filled form. This form is to be submitted to the nodal/designated Government Department/Agency of the applicant's country.

Nodal/designated Department/Agency is, in turn, required to forward the applications to the Embassy/High Commission of India, accredited/concurrently accredited to the nominating country along with undertaking by candidate and certification from employer (Part-II of Application Form), stated ITEC statement.

Candidates may take a printout of the application and later check the status of their application by logging in at www.itecgoi.in .The credentials for logging in should be noted while filling up the form.

"Normally candidates are required to apply for ITEC scholarships through respective Indian Missions. After filling out this online form, its printout is sent to Indian Mission for processing, through the local government with its recommendation. However in certain cases, applications are also received through partner multilateral organizations/ agencies," added the ITEC statement.

IIT Delhi wins overall championship at 27th Inter-IIT Staff Sports Meet

The 27th Inter-IIT Staff Sports Meet was organised at IIT Delhi from December 24-29, 2022. Employees from 21 IITs, with a total contingent size of around 1300 (both men and women), participated in the six-day sports meet. Renowned former Indian cricketer Madan Lal was the chief guest at the event's closing ceremony. He felicitated the winners. IIT Delhi won the "Overall Championship (men and women combined)" and the "General Championship (Men)".
