IIT Hyderabad is conducting admissions for various programmes offered in BTech such as Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Design and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

IIT Hyderabad Admission 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad is conducting the admission application process for MTech/ MDes courses under the Research Assistantship through Project (RAP). Interested and eligible candidates can register on the official website of the institute by today, i.e. November 2, 2023. The institute has extended the deadline for the convenience of the candidates. The institute has a centralised online application portal for MTech admission.

IIT Hyderabad is conducting admissions for various programmes offered in BTech such as Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Design and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Interested candidates can visit the official website for the application format and the submission link. Applications will be accepted through this portal only.

Courses in Design are offered by the Department of Design at IIT Hyderabad. Master of Design (MDes) course is a 2-year full-time programme that aims to provide a broad understanding of design along with student-driven specialisations in Visual Design, Product Design, and Interaction Design

IIT Hyderabad MDes Admission 2023 Eligibility criteria

The candidates need to have a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grades in the qualifying examination including Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design / Interior Design or equivalent, professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT) or equivalent of a 4-year programme, BFA, Master's degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications.

Selection Process

Selection process in MDes will be based on the qualifying exam Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED). The candidate will be shortlisted for Design Aptitute Test (DAT) based on the CEED score. The final selection is a two-step process. Shortlisting for the interview will be done based on the portfolio review and DAT exam.
