IIT Hyderabad Sanskrit Programmes: The Department of Heritage Science and Technology at IIT Hyderabad, in partnership with Central Sanskrit University (CSU), has launched hybrid certificate and diploma courses in Sanskrit, offering both online and offline learning options. The application form for the certificate and diploma courses in Sanskrit language has been released.
The last date to fill up the application form for admission to certificate and diploma courses in Sanskrit is September 20, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online at csucsl.samarth.edu.in. To enrol in the certificate programme, they must be at least 15 years old and have passed class 10th. Whereas the diploma programme is open to those who have completed the certificate course.
IIT Hyderabad Certificate and Diploma Courses in Sanskrit Language Fee
The admission fee for the certificate and diploma courses in Sanskrit language is set at INR 1,200. In addition to this, an examination fee of INR 300 will be required, which must be paid at the time of the exam. The class schedules will be released by IIT Hyderabad, taking into consideration the convenience of the learners to ensure a flexible and accessible learning experience.

Students who get admission in these programmes will be provided with a set of five books from Central Sanskrit University (CSU) to support their learning journey. In addition to language skills, students will gain a deeper understanding of traditional Sanskrit shlokas and songs, as well as explore key scientific and literary concepts rooted in Sanskrit.
