IIT Indore: More Updates

Recently, the engineering institute signed MoU with Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Limited to facilitate the exchange of scientific information. It will develop future competencies required for auto industry and industry ready talent. It will also support VECV Employees to acquire MTech, MS(R), and PhD degrees.

Moreover, IIT Indore is developing customised solutions and technology platforms to assist MSME of Indore and Pithampur, cut off production loss and improve quality through technology intervention.

Professor Bhupesh Lad, project director at DRISHTI CPS Foundation said, “We have deployed solutions to 12 MSMEs of Indore, Dewas and Pithampur and many others have asked us for giving some solutions to their problem, we are working on different solutions. Lack of awareness about technology, affordability and skilling of manpower in MSME are some major problems. To overcome this, we are calling small industries and informing them about our work and making them aware about how IIT-I can help industries,” as reported by TOI.
