Indian Institutes of Technology ISM is all set to offer an online Executive MTech Programme in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Technology from Monsoon Semester 2023-2024. Interested candidates can apply for the course from May 1, 2023, to May 31, 2023, at the institute's official website.

IIT ISM offers Executive MTech Programme in Microelectronics, Semiconductor Technology

Indian Institutes of Technology Dhanbad is offering an online Executive MTech Programme in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Technology from Monsoon Semester 2023-2024. The program comprises 12 theory courses (9 credits each) 4 practical courses (2 credits each), and Thesis of 54 credits. The minimum duration to complete the programme is 2 years and the maximum duration is 3 years. Total number of seats is 25.

The candidates will be able to apply for the online Executive MTech Programme in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Technology from May 1, 2023, to May 31, 2023, at the institute's official website. All theory courses will be held online mode and practical courses in offline mode.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT ISM's Executive MTech Programme in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Technology

Following are the eligibility requirements- BTech/BE or equivalent degree in ECE/ETC/IT/EIE or MSc in Physics/Electronic Science or allied branches with 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA out of 10 point scale or equivalent marks and 2 years of industry experience. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will have to appear for an interview.

Inauguration of Technology Innovation in Exploration & Mining at IIT ISM 

Dr S Chandrasekhar, Secretary to the Govt of India, Dept. of Science & Technology inaugurated TEXMiN, the technology innovation hub of IIT (ISM) on April 28. He lauded the technologies developed by TEXMiN.

Prof. Jeremy Kilburn, Curtin Univ. was the Guest of Honour. Other dignitaries were Mr Saifullah Ansari, Director (MSE), (DGMS), Prof. A K Mishra, Director, CIMFR, Prof. Rajiv Shekhar, Director, IIT(ISM) & Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director, IIT(ISM) and Director (TEXMiN).
