IIT Kanpur Placement Season Begins: 485 Offers, 12 Bag International Placements

The placement data of IIT Kanpur shows that 428 students secured offers through a mix of campus placements and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) on day 1. Also, 216 students have excelled beyond conventional hiring routes, securing PPOs from both national and international firms. Check details here 

IIT Kanpur Placement 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has started the phase I placement session with 485 jobs being offered to students at the end of day 1. Also, 428 students have clinched coveted positions by leveraging a blend of campus placements and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).

Remarkably, 216 students have exceeded conventional hiring approaches by securing PPOs from both national and international companies. Apart from that, 12 of them have been offered job offers from overseas, marking another impressive achievement. 

The international job offers at IIT Kanpur have been given by the following industry leaders such as Microsoft, Navi, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, and Deutsche Bank.

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur was established in 1959 and is known for the highest standard of education in science and engineering and seminal R&D contributions over the years. The institute has a large pool of academic and research resources spanning 19 departments, 25 centres and 3 interdisciplinary programmes in engineering, science, design, humanities, and management disciplines with more than 570 full-time faculty members and approximately 9000 students.
