IIT Kanpur placements: 918 students placed at end of Day 5

IIT Kanpur placements: The highest domestic offer till now is INR 1.9 crore. In all, 33 offers above INR 1 crore have been received at the end of Day 5. 

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur continues to see record number of offers at the ongoing placement season 2022-23 that started on December 1. The institute received a total of 770 job offers from 181 national and international companies at the end of Day 5. 

Up till now, 918 students have secured jobs through campus placement and PPOs (pre-placement offers). The number includes 207 students who have bagged PPOs from national and international companies, approximately 33 per cent higher than the 2021-22 placement session. 

The highest domestic package so far this year is INR 1.9 core, while there are a good number of packages from international recruiters as well. In all, 33 offers above INR 1 crore have been received.   

Last year, the highest packages at the end of Phase I of the 2021-22 placement season, were $287,550 for international and INR 1.2 crore for domestic. So far, a total of 74 international offers have been received by IIT Kanpur this season, as compared to 47 international offers received during last year. 

IIT Kanpur has pulled in top recruiters such as Rakuten, Intel, Capital One, Google, Barclays, Citi Bank, Wells Fargo, Airbus, SLB, Texas Instruments, WorldQuant, Qualcomm, EXL, HSBC, Jio Platforms, Axis Bank, SAP Labs, Rakuten Mobile, Enphase, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Square Point Capital, among others, this season.
