The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna's placement season for the class of 2025 has started on a high note, with over 200 job offers in Phase One. More than 700 students are registered, and the drive has already seen 207 offers, including 58 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from top global companies. This highlights the performance of students during internships, earning them opportunities with some of the world’s leading corporations.

Over 70 companies have already participated in the placement season, with many more ongoing interviews. IIT Patna Phase One will continue until the third week of December, while phase two is scheduled to begin in mid-January 2025. Final placements will align with the hiring timelines of various companies, with most selected candidates expected to start their new roles in June/July 2025.

Apart from this, IIT Patna students have secured 12 full-time job offers from prominent Japanese companies. The IIT Patna placement process is being held in a hybrid format, blending virtual, physical, and on-campus interviews. This approach facilitates seamless and efficient interactions between students and recruiters, overcoming geographical barriers.

The list of pre-placement offers features from industry leaders like Microsoft, Media.Net, Goldman Sachs, Atlassian, Google, Sprinklr, Dell, American Express, Warner Brothers, Johnson & Johnson, TVS, and more. These top organizations have recognized the exceptional talent at IIT Patna, extending offers across diverse sectors, including software engineering, finance, and consulting.

Top Recruiters at IIT Patna

Phase One of the IIT Patna placement drive has attracted top-tier companies from various industries. Notable recruiters include Google, Zomato, Nvidia, Flipkart, Samsung, Reliance Industries, HPCL, Cisco, Maruti Suzuki, NXP, NetApp, Cognizant, Mahindra Finance, AiraMatrix, Axxela, and more. Additionally, international companies like Accenture Japan, Sakata Incorporation, and NTT-TX have offered exciting global career opportunities.

Google leads with 13 offers, followed by Microsoft with 9, Flipkart with 7, and both Accenture Japan and Samsung with 6 offers each. These roles span diverse fields including software engineering, data science, business analytics, consulting, finance, infrastructure, and R&D. Positions offered include Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Analysts, Software Development Engineers, and R&D Engineer Trainees.
