IIT Roorkee invites applications for MTech in VLSI

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has invited applications for MTech in VLSI (very large-scale integration) programme 2023 for industry professionals. Interested candidates can apply for the programme through the official website at iitr.ac.in till March 30, 2023.  

Working professionals with a CGPA of 6.0 or above on 10-point scale and minimum two years of experience in industry and/or research labs are eligible to apply. It also comprises a contact program with faculty on Greater Noida Campus of IIT Roorkee in each semester. The contact program will also have access to labs with EDA and TCAD tools that the students can use. The programme duration is three years with flexible number of credits per semester (two years for course work and one year for thesis) and the total programme fee is INR 6.5 lakh. 

As per the official website of IIT Roorkee, fee will be accepted per semester based on the number of courses/credits registered. A degree equivalent to that of the full-time students will be awarded after a candidate successfully earns required credits. 

The structure is developed to provide necessary skills for early/mid career professionals. MTech in VLSI is a slow-paced postgraduate programme to maintain balance between work and academics. Candidates can attend classes remotely from anywhere.
