IIT Roorkee's 24th Convocation: Honouring 2,513 Graduates Across UG, PG, and PhD Programs on July 27

IIT Roorkee Convocation 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee will host its 24th convocation on July 27, 2024. The event will be graced by the presence of Debjani Ghosh, President of NASSCOM, as the Chief Guest, and will be presided over by Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy, Chairman of the Board of Governors. For those unable to attend in person, the IIT Roorkee convocation will be live-streamed, with the link available on the Instituteโs official website and social media channels.
Sharing information about the graduating class, Prof. Naveen Kumar Navani, Dean of Academic Affairs, IIT Roorkee, said, โThis year, a total of 2,513 graduates will receive degrees this year. The graduates include 1,277 undergraduate students, 794 postgraduate students, and 442 PhD students.โ
In preparation for the upcoming event, a press conference was held today at the Senate Hall in the James Thomson Building, IIT Roorkee. The conference was chaired by Prof. K.K. Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee, and was attended by Prof. U.P. Singh, Deputy Director, and Prof. Naveen Kumar Navani, Dean of Academic Affairs.
At the press conference, Prof. K.K. Pant unveiled a promotional video for the Convocation. The video showcased the event's details, highlighted the institute's achievements, celebrated the accomplishments of its students, and featured Ms. Debjani Ghosh, the Chief Guest.
