IIT Roorkee students bag 365 placement offers on Day 1

IIT Roorkee Placements 2022: The highest domestic offer was made for INR 1.30 crore, while the highest international offer was made for INR 1.06 crore.  

A total of 365 offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs), were made on Day 1 of campus placements for the 2022-23 academic year at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. Six international offers were also made. 

The highest domestic offer was made for INR 1.30 crore, while the highest international offer was made for INR 1.06 crore. A total of 10 students received offers worth INR 80 lakh. 

As many as 31 companies visited the IIT Roorkee campus for placements. Major recruiters were AppDynamics, Bajaj Auto, BCG, Cairn Oil and Gas, Da Vinci Derivatives, Flipkart, Graviton, Hilabs, Infurnia, Intel Technologies, JP Morgan Quant, Maverick Derivatives, Microsoft, NHA, NK Securities, Nvidia, ONGC, Oracle, Plutus Research Pvt Ltd, Qualcomm, QuantBox, SAP Labs, Schlumberger, Sprinklr, Squarepoint, STMicroelectronics, Tata Steel, Texas Instrument, Trilogy, UBER. 

IITG placements begin with 168 offers on first two sessions of Day 1 

Meanwhile, a total of 168 offers were made by 46 companies during Day One’s Sessions 1.1 and 1.2 at IIT Guwahati across Software Development Engineer, Data Science, Quant, Core Engineer, UX Designer, VLSI, Vehicle Engineering, Analyst, Product Designer, etc. job profiles. The institute has received two international offers at the end of Session 1.2. It received highest international offer of INR 2.4 crore and domestic offer of INR 1.1 crore.  

IIT Madras students bag record 445 offers on Day 1 

IIT Madras recorded 445 offers on day 1 and session 1 of campus placements for the 2022-23 academic year. The figure, which includes pre-placement offers (PPOs), is the highest ever recorded in IIT Madras placements history at the end of session 1.1. It is around 10 per cent higher than last year’s figure of 407. A total of 25 offers with pay packages in excess of INR 1 crore per annum has been received at the end of session 1.1. A total of 15 international offers were received from four companies at the end of session 1.1.
