JEE Advanced 2024 Qualifiers Eligible To Apply For Admissions to IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi Campus

JEE Advanced 2024: Students who qualify for JEE Advanced can leverage their rank to apply to IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi through a dedicated portal accessible from the website after the declaration of JEE Advanced 2024 result. Seat allocation for IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi will only appear via this portal, distinct from the JoSAA portal, accommodating students from both JEE Advanced and CAET routes.

All JEE Advanced-qualified candidates must only pay the fees applicable to their category at the Delhi campus of IIT Delhi; the remainder will be waived. Additionally, they will get a monthly stipend of AED 2000. Accommodation for double occupancy hostel rooms will be provided at no cost, with food available at subsidized rates. Furthermore, students will receive an annual allowance of AED 4000 to support travel expenses. Comprehensive medical insurance and welfare provisions will also be provided for all JEE Advanced-qualified students

Additional information regarding the application process to get a seat based on JEE Advanced qualification will soon be provided on the IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi website. IIT Delhi intends to organise an Open House event for JEE Advanced 2024 qualified candidates to offer further insights into the Abu Dhabi campus.

Set to begin in the academic year 2024-25, the two undergraduate programs will initiate with an inaugural cohort of 30 students each. Within each field of study, up to 10 seats will be reserved for students qualifying in the JEE Advanced examination, while the remaining 20 seats will be filled through the merit list of the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET), a newly introduced examination by IIT Delhi tailored specifically for the UAE.

The CAET test, conducted by the JEE Office in IIT Delhi will be held on June 23, 2024, in multiple centres in the UAE. The test is conducted for candidates who are residents of the UAE, including UAE nationals and expatriates, as well as international students. Dedicated to instilling academic excellence, innovation, and a global outlook, these UG programs, namely B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Energy Engineering.

IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi was established following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Ministry of Education, India, IIT Delhi, and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) on July 15, 2023, in the presence of the top leadership of the two countries. Funding and logistic support for the Abu Dhabi campus comes from ADEK, fostering a unique partnership with IIT Delhi and its rich experience in academics and research.
