JEE Main 2023 just a week away, students continue to demand postponement
JEE Main 2023: Aspirants trend #Jee23DemandsJustice, seek more time to prepare for the exam.
With barely a week left for the JEE Main 2023 exam to begin, students are still demanding the postponement of the exam and removal of eligibility criteria on social media. They are trending the hashtag #Jee23DemandsJustice to press for their demand. Aspirants, especially droppers, feel that there is not enough time to prepare for the competitive exam.
The Bombay High Court had recently refused to postpone the JEE Main Session 1, scheduled to be held from January 24 to 31. The high court was hearing a PIL by activist Anubha Srivastava Sahai which stated that the exam dates were clashing with the pre-board and practical examinations and it should be postponed to April or May this year. To this, the court had replied that postponing the exam would have a cascading effect. By pushing the exam to April, students would then have a problem in preparing for the second session in May. Hence the exams stands not postponed.

An aspirant tweeted,โ#Jee23DemandsJustice Without justice in the world, we cannot have peace-the two are intertwined. โClear injustice with droppersโ
One student wrote, โ#Jee23DemandsJustice #Jee23DemandsJustice JOSSA and CSAB rounds lasted till end of October 2022. Now, if the JEE Main 2023 Session-1 is conducted in Jan 2023, it will be a clear injustice with the droppers as they only got 2.5 months for preparation @DG_NTA @dpradhanbjp @PMOIndia,โ another tweeted, โ#Jee23DemandsJustice Millions of dreams are at stake, now justice is not just a request it's a heartfelt demand as well. @dpradhanbjp @poojakapilmisra.โ
