JEE Main 2024 Dates announced; Session 1 from January 24, session 2 from April 1

NTA examination calendar 2024 has been released today. As per the notification of the date, JEE Main 2024 exam will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. The first session is scheduled to be held from January 24 to February 1 while the second session is from April 1 to 15. JEE-Main-2024-Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2024 Dates today. NTA will conduct the JEE Mains 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 is January 24 to February 1 while the second session exam will be conducted from April 1 to 15. JEE Mains 2024 registration is likely to begin soon. JEE Main 2024 dates notification is available on the official website nta.ac.in.

NTA will release the JEE Main application form 2024 anytime soon as the dates have been announced. The application form will be available separately for both sessions. Candidates interested in appearing in both sessions can also fill common application form for both January and April exam during the session 1 registration. JEE Main 2024 application form will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

As per the notification, NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in online mode as a computer-based test. The exam will have have three papers, Paper 1 for admission to BTech courses, Paper 2 A for BArch and Paper 2B for BPlan courses. The test paper for Paper 1 (BTech) will have three sections, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For BArch courses (Paper 2A), the paper will comprise of Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing while for BPlan (Paper 2B), questions from Maths, Aptitude and Planning will be asked.

JEE Main 2024 syllabus, exam pattern, eligibility criteria and other important details will be released soon on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per the JEE Main syllabus, class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions are asked in the exam.

Around 10 lakh candidates appear in the JEE Main exam every year. The score of JEE Main is used for admission BTech courses in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Admission to BArch and BPlan courses in various participating institutes is also through JEE Main Paper 2 scores. JEE Main serves as the screening test for applying to JEE Advanced exam, conducted for admission to BTech courses at IITs.

Students preparing for JEE Main 2024 can study through the NCERT books. Candidates are also advised to emphasize on the JEE Mains most important chapters that are asked in the exam, Chapterwise weightage and JEE Main previous year question papers. Solving previous year papers are very beneficial for scoring good marks in the exam.
