JEE Mains 2024: Check Unfair Activities in IIT JEE That Can Debar Students From Appearing in Exam

JEE Main 2024 Session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has listed certain practices that can lead to the cancellation of the JEE Mains for students who would be undertaking 'unfair practices' ahead of the JEE Main session 1. According to the official website, doing things that aren't fair gives one candidate an advantage over everyone else. That's why it's called unfair practice, hence those found practicing unfair means will be booked under the Unfair Means Case (UFM).
This year, JEE Main 2024 for session 1 will be conducted from January 24 to February 1. NTA is expected to soon release the JEE Main exam city intimation slip and admit for those who will be appearing for the exam. Once released, candidates can download JEE Main city intimation slip online at the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Unfair Activities in IIT JEE That Can Debar Students From Appearing in Exam
- Any candidates found with prohibited items in the exam hall will be treated as unfair
- Engaging in impersonation, aiding in cheating, disregarding exam rules or NTA directives for the JEE Main 2024, assisting others in malpractice, giving or receiving any form of assistance - directly or indirectly will be regarded as unfair conduct
- Attempting to contact or communicate with individuals not part of the examination staff during the exam, threatening officials or candidates, using inappropriate methods during the exam, and manipulating or fabricating online documents like admit cards, rank letters, or self-declarations will be deemed illegal and considered unfair practice
- Unauthorized entry or exit from the JEE Main exam hall, the use or attempted use of electronic devices after entering the examination center, attaching or uploading incorrect or altered photographs/signatures on the application form/admit card/proforma, and possessing paper bits are strictly forbidden and will be regarded as illegal
Unfair Means Case (UFM) in JEE Mains 2024
Those found practicing unfair means will be booked under the Unfair Means Case (UFM). They may be debarred for three years in the future and will also be liable for criminal action. The result of JEE Main 2024 of such candidates who indulge in unfair means practices will be cancelled and not be declared.
