JoSAA Counselling 2024: Registration (June 10); Check Eligibility Criteria & More

To appear in the seat allocation rounds, candidates can check below the eigibility criteria:

• All the candidates who qualify for JEE Main 2024 will be allowed to appear for the seat allocation round.
• All the candidates who qualify for JEE Advanced 2024 will also be eligible to appear for JoSAA 2024 counselling.
• Candidates must fulfilled the "Performance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination criteria set by the institutes.

Qualifying Examinations are: JEE (Advanced) 2024, JEE Main 2024 BE/BTech, JEE Main 2024 B.Arch and JEE Main 2024 B. Planning

Admitting Institutes: IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs (Triple-I-Ts) and other -GFTIs.

Documents required for JoSAA Counselling

Candidates can check below the documents required for JoSAA Counselling 2024:

• Class X and XII Mark sheets/Certificates
• PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Bank details
• Category certificate (If applicable)
• Medical card (if applicable)
• Passport/Citizenship certificate (if applicable)
• JEE Main/Advanced admit card
• OCI/PIO card (if applicable)

About JoSAA

JoSAA is the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, set up by the Ministry of Education (erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)) to manage and regulate the seat allocation for admissions to 121 institutes for the academic year 2024–25. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programmes offered by these institutes will be made via a single platform.
