Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has activated the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) option entry link for the first round. Eligible candidates can exercise the option entry by visiting the official website or by using the link available on this page below. After successful entry into the website, candidates have to select the link titled as “UGCET-2020 – OPTION ENTRY” to proceed for the next steps.
The details required for KCET 2020 first-round option entry are CET Number, CET Application Number along with the unique keyword. Candidates will find these details on the verification slip issued to them after verification. KCET 2020 First Round Option Entry Process
This section will guide the candidates in performing KCET option entry successfully. So check the step-by-step procedure below:
- Open any browser and open the website - http://kea.kar.nic.in in the address bar
- Enter the random text shown in the CAPTCHA and submit
- Enter application number, secret unique keyword and new password
- Confirm new password
- Enter mobile number
- Select secret hint question from the list and type-hint answer
- After that, user ID and password will be created
- Click on the login button and verify basic information such as name, category, rank, etc.
- On the Option Entry homepage, candidates will find their name, CET Rank, your Rank discipline wise, whether you are eligible to the Supernumerary Quota etc.
How to download Option Work Sheet?
- Go to the home page
- Click the link “Option WorkSheet”
- A pop-up window will be loaded
- Click the link “Click here to Print Report” to take the print out of “Option WorkSheet”
How to change Password?
Candidates should remember their password for the continuation of the process of registration, option filling and option saving. Password will be required till completion of online allotment process. Candidates can change their password multiple times by following the procedure given below:
- Go to home page
- Click the link “Change Password”
- Enter current password
- Enter new password
- Re-enter new password and then click on the “Change Password” button
- Password will be changed successfully
How to Logout?
Each time candidates log in, they should remember that they have accessed to the homepage. Take care to see that the account is logged out completely by clicking on the log out button. Candidates must log out after completing the session for option filling at any time and should not close the window as such.
