Macquarie University and MIT-WPU sign MoU for STEM and Management programs

The collaboration will further enhance students’ academic journey through joint research programs and staff exchanges

Macquarie University Australia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MIT-World Peace University which seeks to boost joint research programs, staff exchanges and study tours.

The MoU covers credit transfers and articulations in STEM and Management programs to support the next generation of executives by enhancing their managerial skills and technological expertise in tandem.

As per a release issued by the Macquarie University, Apart from the benefits of student exchange, study tours and joint research programs, students will also be eligible for direct admission to one-year Masters or an integrated arrangement for Undergraduate and Post Graduate degrees at Macquarie University.

At the same time, students who enrol in these courses will have the opportunity of completing their first few years of learning in India before moving to Australia to conclude their program of study at Macquarie University.

Professor S. Bruce Dowton, Vice-Chancellor and President, Macquarie University, said, “This exciting new partnership will capitalise on the proven academic prowess of both universities to deliver stronger educational opportunities through access to a broad range of seamlessly-integrated programs in STEM and business management.”
