MHT CET 2024 Normalisation Process: The Maharashtra CET Cell has released the normalisation process to ensure that every candidate is assessed on the same scale and is not disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the exam. As MHTCET is held in multiple shifts. They will receive various sets of questions across different shifts, and despite efforts to maintain consistency, the difficulty of these MHT CET question papers may vary. To address this, the normalisation method will be used. 

MHT CET 2024 exam dates have been announced. As per the schedule, the MHT CET exam for Engineering will be conducted from May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 & 17 while the MHT CET Pharmacy exam will be held on April 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29 & 30, 2024. How MHT CET Result 2024 will be calculated by using the normalisation process? 

Normalisation is a standard method used to compare MHTCET scores from tests conducted in multiple shifts, similar to practices in other major educational exams in India. The CET Cell will calculate percentile scores for candidates based on their performance relative to others. Candidates' scores will be converted into a scale from 0 to 100. 

A candidate's percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates who scored below that particular score in the exam. These scores will be precise up to five decimal places to reduce the occurrence of ties. The examination MHT CET results for each session is prepared in the form of

▪ Raw Scores

▪ Percentiles Scores separately for each of the three subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and the total

The Maharashtra CET Cell will be releasing the MHT CET admit card for PCM group soon. As the entrance exam is set to be held on May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17, 2024. It is expected that the MHT CET 2024 admit card will be released a week before the commencement of the exam.
