NIRF Rankings 2022: Dharmendra Pradhan to release Ranking today
NIRF also known as India Rankings will release rank of institutions under 11 categories depending on their areas of operation.
NIRF Rankings 2022: Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will today announce NIRF Ranking 2022. The list of top institutes in India will be released at 11 am.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), also known as India Rankings will release rank of institutions under 11 categories depending on their areas of operation. The 11 categories are - Overall, Universities, Engineering, Management, Colleges, Pharmacy, Medical, Architecture, Dental, Law and Research.
The ranking parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
Dharmendra Pradhan will release the India Rankings 2022 virtually and this year the number of participation has reached a record number of 7254 institutions.
In 2021, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras was ranked number one in the Overall category as well as in Engineering category. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) was ranked as the top university in the country, while in the management category, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad was ranked first, AIIMS Delhi was ranked first in the medical category in the NIRF Rankings 2021. In Law, NLSIU Bengaluru was ranked top in the country, while IIT Roorkee was top in Architecture category.
For the past three years, the NIRF Rankings have been getting delayed due to COVID-19 Pandemic. In 2021, the NIRF Rankings were released on September 9.
