Q:   Can I get admission to IIT Madras with a low JEE rank?

A:
Admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is highly competitive and the admission process is based on the candidate's JEE Advanced rank. However, admission to IIT Madras or any other IIT with a low JEE rank is unlikely, as the cutoff for admission is generally very high. That being said, it's important to remember that JEE rank is not the only factor that IITs consider during the admission process. Other factors such as academic performance, extracurricular activities, and achievements in related fields may also be taken into account. Additionally, some IITs offer other admission channels like the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme, which allows foreign nationals to apply for admission to IITs based on their SAT scores. It's always best to check the official IIT Madras website for the most up-to-date information on their admission process, eligibility criteria, and other requirements.
