NIT Hamirpur Admissions 2022 begin for BTech, BArch & other programmes
All those candidates having JEE (Main) 2022 ranks and are willing to get a seat in NIT Hamirpur through JoSAA, are required to register through the official JoSAA-2o22 portal
NIT Hamirpur Admissions 2022: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur has commenced the admission process for BTech/BArch and Dual Degree JoSAA/CSAB-2022. All those candidates having JEE (Main) 2022 ranks and are willing to get a seat in NIT Hamirpur through JoSAA, are required to register through the official JoSAA-2o22 portal, the institute in its official statement said on Tuesday.
A candidate is required to choose and apply to a series of academic programmes in a certain order of preference, according to the Registrar of the institution.
Talking about the admissions, he said that a Help Centre is also set up in the Mini Auditorium on ground floor of this Institute to assist and guide the JEE (Main) qualified candidates in the forthcoming online registration, choice filling and counselling process. The Help Centre will run i.e. September 14, 2022, until the closing of the JoSAA/CSAB-2o22 seat allotment process.
NIT Rourkela is conducting the centralized seat allocation process for the year 2022 for admission to various undergraduate programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, SPAs (School of planning and architecture) and some GFTI (Government funded technical institutes), all collectively called the ‘NIT+ System.’
The eligibility requirement of 75 per cent marks in the Class 12th or 20 percentiles in the 12th Class exam conducted by the respective board has been exempted as a one-time measure for the academic year 2022-23. The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) 2022 has been constituted by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, with the Director, NIT Rourkela, as its Chairperson. Similarly, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) takes the responsibility of allocating seats in IITs with the Director, IIT Bombay as its Chairperson.
