National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna is offering a five-day short-term course on 'Recent Research Techniques in Architecture and Planning, starting today, August 17, 2022.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna has today started a short-term course on 'Recent Research Techniques in Architecture and Planning. The course will conclude on August 21, 2022.

The objective of the course is to stimulate various domains of conducting research involved in Architecture and Planning and help academicians and researchers to conceptualise and formulate a route map for their study. The course will provide a platform for discussion and interaction with eminent speakers on various processes of conceptualizing techniques and methodologies for the successful conduct of research.

The course is being organised by the Department of Architecture and Planning which is one of the oldest departments of the NIT Patna. The courses offered by the department include Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture (Sustainable), and Master of Urban and Regional Planning.

Medical Image Processing - joint online faculty development programme

NIT Patna in association with IIT Roorkee, MNIT Jaipur, and PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur is offering a joint online faculty development programme from August 22 to September 2, 2022. The course content includes Machine Learning basics - regression, classification, decision trees, naive bayesian classifier, clustering, SVM, data processing - dimensionality, reduction, principal component analysis, deep learning basics, visualization, programming, Python for Data Science, deep learning using Google collab.

The workshop will be conducted online using the Zoom platform daily for four hours in two sessions. It will give participants opportunities to connect with experts from industry and government. A certificate of completion will be given to the candidates who will complete the course and also full access to the course material.
