NSDC Collaborates with MentorKart and IIT Guwahati to Enhance Tech Skills Among Youth

NSDC collaborates with MentorKart and IIT Guwahati to introduce a Post Graduate Certification Program in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, aimed at equipping them with industry-relevant skills. Get details here 

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MentorKart and IIT Guwahati. This collaboration aims to inaugurate a Post Graduate Certification Program in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, to enhance employability and industry preparedness among participants.

This initiative is centred on implementing a credit-based certification curriculum covering advanced skills, enabling seamless progression into internships and job opportunities within the technology industry. The MoU was signed between Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, of NSDC and MD of NSDC International, and Ashish Khare, CEO, of MentorKart- a Career and JobTech platform.

Post Graduate Certification Program in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning

Developed with substantial contributions from industry experts, this program guarantees a curriculum that is both relevant and enriched with opportunities for real-world projects. It offers flexible learning modalities and micro-credentials that comply with NCVET and NSQF standards, paving the way for uninterrupted career advancement. Moreover, the inclusion of a Campus Immersion feature offers a one-week on-campus experience to bolster the hands-on learning aspect.

Students will learn from qualified instructors and gain practical guidance from experienced professionals from IIT Guwahati and Industry Leaders. This unique partnership will also help aspiring students acquire advanced training in innovative concepts and techniques, motivating them to explore cutting-edge technologies within India’s Techade.
