NTA withholds scores of 50 JEE Main Session 1 candidates

The National Testing Agency said the cases of these candidates are being placed before a committee separately and will be declared once it finalises its report.  

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has withheld the scores of about 50 JEE Main candidates who appeared in JEE Main Session 1 as they are under scrutiny. The cases of these candidates are being placed before a committee separately, the agency said and added that the NTA scores of these candidates will be declared once the panel finalises its report.  

The official statement issued by the NTA reads, “NTA Scores are normalized scores across multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.” 

The NTA has released the JEE Main result 2023 for Session 1 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. A total of 20 students have scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 result. Candidates can check their result on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Login credentials required for JEE Main session 1 result are application number and date of birth.  

JEE Main 2023 result is available in online mode only. JEE 2023 result is released in the form of scorecard having marks of individual subject, CRL, percentile marks, raw score and others. JEE Main 2023 result link is also activated at nta.results.nic.in.  

How to check JEE Main result 2023 session 1?   

Candidates can refer to the steps given below to check JEE 2023 result.   

  • Visit the JEE Main result official website - nta.results.nic.in 2023.   
  • Click on the direct link to check JEE Main result.   
  • Enter the JEE application number and password/date of birth in required fields.   
  • JEE Main 2023 scorecard will be displayed on screen.   
  • Check all details mentioned in the JEE Mains result 2023.   
  • Download result and scorecard for future reference.    

The authorities will release the cutoff marks after the conclusion of session 2 exam. NTA will release the JEE Mains cutoff 2023 separately for all category. Applicants who scored marks equal to or more than the JEE Main 2023 cutoff will be declared as qualified.
