The new EB-5 offering comes at a time when the number of Indian students traveling to the U.S. continues to grow rapidly. According to the latest data, over 200,000 Indian students pursued higher education in the U.S. in 2023.

With declining odds in the H-1B visa lottery and increased restrictions on F-1 student visas, thousands of skilled professionals and students in the U.S. face growing uncertainty about their futures. For many families, especially in India, navigating temporary visa hurdles has become an increasing concern.

In response to these challenges, U.S. Immigration Fund (USIF) has introduced a game-changing financing solution for the EB-5 visa program, aimed at making U.S. permanent residency more accessible to a broader range of applicants. Traditionally, the EB-5 visa required a significant upfront investment of $800,000, a figure that has deterred many families, particularly those constrained by India's $250,000 annual remittance limit under the Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS).

USIF’s new program allows families to begin the EB-5 application process with just $200,000 upfront to file a conditional green card petition. Investors then have six months to arrange the remaining $600,000. This partial funding option drastically lowers the financial barrier and offers families a viable path to securing permanent residency in the U.S.

"We've heard the concerns from parents of H-1B and F-1 visa holders," said Nicholas Mastroianni III, President of USIF. "The EB-5 program offers a stable, long-term solution, and our partial funding option makes it easier for families to begin the process.”

The new EB-5 offering comes at a time when the number of Indian students traveling to the U.S. continues to grow rapidly. According to the latest data, over 200,000 Indian students pursued higher education in the U.S. in 2023, making India the second-largest source of international students in America, only after China. Many of these students and skilled professionals face long-term residency challenges under the current visa framework, which the EB-5 program seeks to address.

USIF's latest EB-5 project, a 63-story residential tower located minutes from Manhattan, offers a strong investment opportunity. With 60% of construction already complete and all required jobs for EB-5 investors secured, the project is backed by leading financial institutions such as AIG and Apollo, lending credibility to the venture.

USIF is hosting one-on-one consultations in Mumbai from September 27 to 29, 2024. During these sessions, families can meet with U.S. immigration experts and attorneys to learn about the EB-5 process, including details on the $200,000 partial funding program and strategies for overcoming remittance limitations.
