FMS Summer Internship Placement: 100% students placed, Highest stipend stood at 5 Lakh

This year, the FMS summer internship process witnessed the highest stipend at Rs 5 lakh, with the highest ever average seeing a steep rise to Rs 2.62 lakh, the institute announced.

FMS Summer Internship Placements: Despite the economic slowdown caused due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi has reported a 100 per cent summer internship placement for the 2021-23 batch. The highest average stipend stood at Rs 2,62,000 for two months, which is an increase of 9 per cent from last year.

While announcing the FMS Summer Internship Placement, the institute tweeted, “FMS Delhi has concluded one of the most successful Summer Internship Processes in record time with 100 per cent placement. We congratulate the Corporate Relations and Placement team who played a pivotal role in achieving this feat.”

This year, the FMS summer internship process witnessed the highest stipend at Rs 5 lakh, with the highest ever average seeing a steep rise to Rs 2.62 lakh, the institute announced. As per the reports, the top 105 students were offered an average stipend of Rs 1.85 lakh per month, and the top 25 per cent of the students have been offered Rs 1.68 lakh per month.

About 37 per cent of students have been hired in Consulting and General Management domains, an increase of 72 per cent from last year. While 15 per cent of the students received offers for finance roles. About 23 per cent of students accepted offers in sales and marketing, rolled out by the topmost firms across the country.

Around 25 per cent of students have been recruited for e-commerce/IT/Operations by firms such as Adobe, Amazon, Atlassian, Flipkart, Google, Info Edge, Microsoft, Media.net, and Udaan.

As per the reports, 102 companies have participated in the summer placements process at FMS Delhi, with 74 companies being slotted and 290 offers made to the full-time MBA - Batch of 2023. The recruiters included Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Microsoft, Unilever amongst others.
