GATE 2022 exam day guidelines are available on the official website i.e. gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates can also check the same below. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will conduct the GATE exam on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022.

The exam conducting authority has already released the GATE 2022 admit card on January 15. The hall ticket also comprises the GATE exam day guidelines. Candidates are must strictly follow all the instructions at the exam centre.

GATE 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

• Candidates must reach the examination centre one hour before the exam commencement.
• All students must carry GATE 2022 admit card along with one valid identity proof to the exam centre.
• It is mandatory for all candidates to wear a mask and carry sanitiser with them. They also have to disclose the exact health details to the exam in-charge at the centre.
• Exam conducting authority will not provide pen or pencil to candidates at the GATE 2022 exam centres. They must carry all the items on their own.
• The scribble pads will be allotted to each candidate by the examination authorities. They must submit the scribbled paper, back to the invigilator, after the examination.
• Any paper other than admit card and valid ID proof is strictly prohibited.
• Students are allowed to carry only transparent water bottles inside exam centres.
• Any ornament, goggles or smartwatch will not be allowed inside the examination hall.
• Any personal belongings such as wallets, handbags, belts will not be allowed as per the GATE 2022 exam day guidelines.

GATE 2022 Dress Code

• Candidates are advised to avoid wearing clothes with too many pockets.
• Students must avoid unnecessary accessories such as shrug stole or any fancy item during GATE 2022.
• Students are advised to wear light colour, simple dresses in the examination centre.
