GATE 2022 Live Updates: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 exam today (February 5, 2022). GATE 2022 exam will be conducted as per the schedule on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. In order to ensure smooth travel for GATE 2022 candidates on the exam day, IIT Kharagpur has released a travel pass. Candidates can download the GATE 2022 travel pass from the official website, gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

For the majority of students whom Shiksha talk to, the GATE 2022 CSE paper was easy to moderate. The quantitative aptitude section of the question paper was easy. Questions were asked from coding, compiler design, DBMS, etc. Candidates can check the feedback of students regarding the GATE 2022 CSE Exam below:
Sudhir from IIIT Delhi, says more questions were asked from OS and unexpectedly, there were a few questions from DS. Questions from the coding part were tough.
Varun says the overall difficulty level of questions was tough. The quantitative part and questions from coding were easy.
Satyam says most questions were asked from Cisco and Compilers.
According to Gaurav, Aptitude questions in today’s GATE CSE paper were easy. 1 or 2 questions were from coding. Questions from the DBMS section were tougher.

GATE 2022: Shift 1 ended
IIT Kharagpur has conducted the first shift of the GATE 2022 exam today i.e. February 5. In the forenoon shift held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) and Biomedical Engineering (BM) papers were conducted.

GATE 2022: Entry begins
Authorities at the respective exam centres have started the entry of students. Students have started arriving at the examination centres. GATE 2022 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift is from 9 am to noon, while the second one is between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm. Students without a mask and sanitiser will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

GATE 2022: What to carry/not to carry to the exam centre
Candidates who are going to appear for GATE 2022 must carry the following items at the GATE exam centre.
- GATE 2022 admit card
- One valid photo identity proof
- Mask and sanitiser
- Pen and pencil
- Students can carry a transparent water bottle
- Any ornament, goggles, smartwatch, wallets, handbags, belts will not be allowed.

GATE 2022 to be held today
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will conduct GATE 2022 today. GATE 2022 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift is from 9 am to noon, while the second one is between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm. The exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks and the score is valid for a period of three years after the results are declared. The exam will be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022.
