GATE 2023: Registration deadline without late fee extended again, apply at gate.iitk.ac.in

GATE 2023 Registration: The registration window for GATE 2023 without late fee will end on October 7, 2022. Eligible candidates can register online for GATE with late fee till October 14.  

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has extended the last date to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 without late fee. Interested candidates can apply by October 7 on gate.iitk.ac.in.  

Earlier, GATE 2023 application deadline (without late fee) was September 30, which was extended till October 4 and then to October 7. GATE 2023 will be held on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023. The call letters will be released on January 3 and GATE 2023 result will be out on March 16, 2023.  

Candidates who will successfully submit the GATE 2023 application form will only be issued the GATE 2023 admit card. Before proceeding to apply for GATE 2023, candidates must ensure that they are fulfilling the prescribed GATE 2023 eligibility criteria.  

GATE 2023: Here’s how to fill application form 

Candidates need to follow the below steps to complete the GATE 2023 application form: 

• Visit the official website at gate.iitk.ac.in. 
• On the homepage, click on the login button 
• Then click on the new register if candidates are registering for the first time 
• Use the registration credentials to log in 
• Fill out the details in the form and pay the application fee 
• Cross-check the details and submit the form 
• Take a printout of the form for future reference. 

GATE 2023 registration fee 

GATE 2023 application fee is INR 850 per paper for female candidates till October 7. After that, they have to pay INR 1,350 per paper. Similarly, for SC, ST, PwD candidates, the application fee is INR 850 per paper during the regular window (up to October 7) and INR 1,350 after that. Others, including foreign nationals, have to pay INR 1,700 per paper till October 7 and INR 2,200 after that to submit GATE applications.
