The GLS DAT entrance exam is being conducted in two rounds for admission to B. Des and integrated M. Des courses.
GLS Institute of Design will conduct the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2022 for Round II on May 14-15. The exam will be conducted in both online and offline modes. Successfully registered candidates can download their admit cards from the admission portal for appearing in the exam.
The GLS DAT 2022 exam is held in two rounds. The entrance exam for Round I was conducted on February 19 and 20.
GLS DAT exam pattern 2022
As per the exam pattern of GLS Institute of Design DAT 2022, the question paper will include drawing tests. In addition, the candidate will also be evaluated on their knowledge of design elements.
The following qualities will be evaluated in the written exam:
- Observation power
- Utilisation of form
- Colour
- Shapes
- Innovative ways to describe objects/environment
- Innovation/imagination
- Drawing skills
- Proportion sense
Scores of the GLS DAT 2022 exam will be used to shortlist candidates for a personal interaction round, which will be conducted at the GLS Institute of Design, campus. The interview will be conducted in offline mode.
The final score of GLS Institute of Design exam 2022 will be prepared basis the performance of the candidate in:
- The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2022
- Personal Interview
The final score in turn will be used for preparing the admission merit list.
The GLS Institute of Design currently offers the following courses:
- 4-year B.Des course
- 5-year integrated M.Des course.
The application form of GLS Institute of Design DAT 2022 was open in online mode till May 10, 2022.
