Out of the total number announced by the government, 11,000 regular teachers will be recruited and 7,000 will be recruited through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, the state CM said.
The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar announced the state government’s decision on September 25, 2022, to recruit 18,000 teachers soon. Out of the total number announced by the government, 11,000 regular teachers will be recruited and 7,000 will be recruited through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, the state CM said while addressing a programme organised at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak.
Recently, the BJP-JJP government has come under opposition attack over the shortage of teachers in schools. The opposition has claimed improper functioning of state schools due to shortage of manpower.
During the event, the CM talked about the government’s initiatives taken to improve the quality of education in the state. Khattar said that Haryana government is continuously working to ensure quality school education in the state. The minister also talked about encouraging digital education in Haryana. Khattar said that the government has distributed five lakh tablets to the students of Class 10, 11 and 12. He further added that the government is planning to provide 2.5 lakh more tablets to the students soon.
The Chief Minister said the Haryana Government is strenuously working to ensure smart classrooms, dual desks and upgrading other infrastructure in schools.
Earlier, the minister announced that the Haryana government is planning to recruit 3,035 teachers for government colleges in the state. On September 9, 2022, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar talked about the government’s plan to recruit as many as 1,535 college teachers soon. In order to do so, a letter is also written to Haryana Public Service Commission on behalf of the Higher Education Department, the minister said. Apart from this, the minister added that “a letter will also be sent to the commission this month for the recruitment of 1,500 more college teachers”.
