Allahabad University Admission 2023 open for International Students; Apply by Sep 20
International Students are required to submit a scan copy of the duly filled application form in the prescribed format (Application form is Annexed with the "International Students Admission Guidelines-2023-24") along with necessary supporting documents by September 20, 2023 (Wednesday) at midnight 11.59 PM (IST) to internationalstudentsoffice@allduniv.ac.in.
The University of Allahabad has commenced the admission process for Foreign Students in its various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) courses, professional courses, and Doctoral programme (Ph.D.) for the academic session 2023-24 by proposing the "International Students Admission Guidelines-2023-24".
This year admission shall be done only under the self-financed category. A total of 20% of supernumerary seats have been exclusively proposed for international students in each course/programme of the study in UG, PG, and professional courses including LLM, and Ph.D. programme.
This is the first time the University has also proposed to invite applications from Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holder, Non-resident Indian (NRI) and NRI ward category students.
International Students exempted from entrance exam
The admission vacancies for international students are against the supernumerary seats, without disturbing the sanctioned seats of all the courses finning in the University. International students are exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test for admission.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum eligibility qualifications for international students are the same as those for Indian students for each course/programme mentioned in the UoA admission procedures and related Brochure 2023. The desirous candidates are advised to carefully read and follow the "International Students Admission Guidelines-2023-24" which can be viewed/downloaded from the University website: http://www.allduniv.ac.in.
Last date to apply is September 20
International Students are required to submit a scanned copy of the duly filled application form in the prescribed format (Application form is Annexed with the "International Students Admission Guidelines-2023-24") along with necessary supporting documents by September 20, 2023 (Wednesday) at midnight 11.59 PM (IST) to internationalstudentsoffice@allduniv.ac.in. No application processing fee is required when submitting the application form. The office of International Students Advisor (ISA) shall provide necessary guidance for admission of International Students to the various courses/ programmes run in the University of Allahabad (UoA).
Applications through third party not be entertained
In case of any query or help, you are requested to contact us on internationalstudentsoffice@allduniv.ac.in or isa@allduniv.ac.in. All International Students seeking admission to UoA are strongly advised not to use the services of third-party/agents/admission service firms. The university has not authorized any agency/ individuals/agent to act on its behalf and /or to charge any fee from prospective students. Applicant's inquiries received through middlemen/ third party will not be entertained and will be categorically rejected.
