CUET 2023: What All Changed in CUET Exam This Year, Check Details

CUET UG 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2023) registration. All those candidates who wish to take admission to undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in central universities and other participating institutions can now fill the CUET UG 2023 Application Form. Candidates can visit the official website; i.e. cuet.samarth.ac.in to apply for CUET 2023. 

CUET UG 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages; i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The paper will have objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

CUET 2023: What all changed?

The NTA has this year announced some major changes in the CUET 2023 exam pattern, registration fees and number of questions to be attempted in the exam. Read Below to know more:

Increase in number of slots

The NTA conducted the CUET Exam 2022 in two slots; i.e. shift 1 from 9 am to 12.15 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6.45 pm. Now from this year onwards, the CUET Exam 2023 will be conducted in three slots.

Increase in number of subject choices

Until last year, candidates were allowed to take exam in 9 subjects only. However, from this academic year, they will be able to choose maximum of 10 subjects from all three sections.

Number of question reduced 

The NTA has now reduced the number of questions a candidate has to attempt for CUET exam 2023. Though the Section 1A and 1B has the same pattern, the number of questions to be attempted in section 2 and 3 has been reduced.

CUET 2023: Last to apply

Candidates can apply for CUET UG Exam 2023 on or before March 12, 2023. Candidates are advised to avoid mistakes while filling up the form as it will be rejected by NTA. 

CUET Registration 2023: How to apply

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to fill the CUET 2023 application form:

  • Go to the CUET website; cuet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the CUET registration 2023 link
  • Register by typing in credentials such as name, phone number and email ID
  • Log in using the new registration ID and password that is sent to the registered mobile or email
  • Pay the application fee
  • Click on submit button.
