The Vice Chancellor of the University said that the Academic Bank of Credit, dual degree programmes arrangement has already been approved by the Academic Council.

Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh in a move to implement provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has announced implementation of the Dual Degree Program, International Partnership and Academic Credit Bank initiative of University Grants Commission (UGC).

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the academic council of the University has consented to implement all these three schemes initiated by the UGC in the University. As a result of this, the students of the University will have lot of options for which are envisaged in these guidelines.

Let us inform here that these schemes presented by the University Grants Commission will prove to be helpful in realizing the vision of the National Education Policy by developing a more experiential, holistic, integrated, research-oriented, learner-centred, flexible, sustainable and innovative approach to education. Central University of Haryana is continuously playing leading role at the level of implementation of National Education Policy.

The creation of new courses and their successful operation as per mandate of NEP 2020 has already started in the University. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the Academic Bank of Credit, dual degree programmes arrangement has already been approved by the Academic Council. With this, the Dual Degree Program and International Partnership have also been unanimously accepted by the Academic Council.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University said that with the approval of the scheme by Academic Council, the University will soon make them operational and implement these in letter and spirit for larger interest of the students and all other stakeholders. The University will have option to open up with other partner institutes in India and abroad.
