Delhi University Third Cut-off list admissions to begin today
The admission for some of the DU college courses has been closed as the seats have been filled under the first and second cut-off lists released earliert this month.
The University of Delhi announced the consolidated third cut-off lists 2021 on October 16 for all DU colleges. The admission process under the 3rd cut-off list will begin from October 18, today and will be over by October 21.
The required passing percentage for admissions under the third cut-off list released by Delhi University has seen a marginal dip by 0.25% to 1.5%, however, for popular courses like Commerce and Economics, there is not much change.
The cut-offs to popular courses, however, remained on the higher side. The third cut-off list did not see much dip in percentage as Lady Sri Ram College for Women came out with 99.25% cut-off for BA Psychology and 99% for Economics, Journalism and Political Science. Similarly, Sri Ram College of Commerce has released a cut-off for two courses, BA Economics and with 99.50% and B.Com (Hons) 99%. BA (Honours) Economics cut off at Hansraj College and Hindu College has been kept at 99%. The admission for the Economics course is however has been closed at some of the colleges like Kirori Mal College, Janki Devi Memorial College, Kamala Nehru College, Miranda House and Kalindi College.
The admission for some of DU college courses has been closed as the seats have been filled. The Delhi University received a total of 1,18,878 applications under the first and second cut-off rounds which began on October 1.
Under the second cut-off, over 13,000 students have taken admissions and as per reports, nearly 51,000 students have submitted their admissions fee till now. Delhi University has around 70,000 undergraduate seats being offered by its 64 affiliated colleges.
Nearly three lakh students have applied for admissions at Delhi University. DU will release five cut-off lists and a Special cut-off list would also be released on October 25, after the first three lists.
The fourth and fifth cut-offs will be released depending on the vacant seats at various colleges and the admission process for UG courses is likely to be over by November 16, 2021.
