DU admission 2019 – University releases admission schedule for Armed Forces category

DU has released the DU admission 2019 schedule for applicants under Armed Forces category. Admission process to begin on July 7, 2019. Read below to know the documents required for verification.

Delhi University has released the schedule for DU admission 2019 to its undergraduate programmes for the armed forces category candidates for the session 2019-20 on the official website.  The admission process begins on July 1, 2019 for candidates belonging to Priority I to V. Similarly, admission process for candidates belonging to Priority VI & VII and VIII & IX will begin from July 16 and 24 respectively. The process begins with the document verification which will be done at Conference Centre, near Botany Department, University of Delhi. The detailed schedule of DU admission 2019 Armed Forces category students is listed below:

For applicants belonging to Priority I, II, III, IV, V

Document verification

July 1 – July 3, 2019 (Timings: 10 am – 1 pm; 2pm to 4pm)

Allocation of seats to applicants belonging to priority-I

July 5, 2019

Admission by college

July 5 & 6, 2019

Allocation of seats to applicants belonging to priority-II & III

July 8, 2019

Admission by college

July 8 & 9, 2019

Allocation of seats to applicants belonging to priority-II and Priority-IV

July 11, 2019

July 11 & 12, 2019

Allocation of seats to applicants belonging to priority-II and Priority-V

July 15, 2019

July 15 & 16, 2019

 

For applicants belonging to Priority VI, VII

Document verification

July 16 – July 18, 2019

Allocation of seats to applicants belonging to priority-VI & VII

July 23, 2019

July 23 & 24, 2019

 

For applicants belonging to Priority VIII, IX

Document verification

July 24 – July 26, 2019

 

Allocation of seats to applicants belonging to priority-VIII & IX

Applicants are allocated to different priorities based on the below parameters:

Priority - I

Widows/wards of Defence personnel killed in action

Priority – II

Wards of Defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out from service with disability attributable to military service.

Priority – III

Wards of Defence personnel who died while in service with death attributable to military service

Priority – IV

Wards of Defence personnel disabled in service and boarded out from service with disability attributable to military service.

Priority – V

Wards of serving/ex-servicemen personnel including personnel of police forces who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.

Priority - VI

Wards of ex-servicemen

Priority - VII

Wives of:

(i) defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out from service

(ii) defence personnel disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service.

(iii) Ex-servicemen and serving personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.

Priority - VIII

Wards of serving personnel

Priority - IX

Wives of serving personnel

Documents required for verification:

  • Educational Concession Certificate
  • Online registration form
  • Class 12th marks certificate
  • Class 10th marks certificate
  • Applicants are required to carry the original certificates along with them. These will be returned after verifying them.

DU has also released the DU first cut off 2019 on the official website for all the colleges affiliated to it.
