DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University receives over 47,000 applications on Day 2

DU First Cut-off 2021 for all courses and colleges was released by DU on October 1, 2021, on its official website; i.e. du.ac.in. DU has approved 9,114 admissions and 7,167 students have completed the process of payment of fees online by 7:45 pm.

DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University Admissions against the first cut-off list is underway. On the second day, the Delhi University has received around 47,291 applications for DU UG admissions 2021 against the first cut-off 2021.

As per the official statement, DU has approved 9,114 admissions and 7,167 students have completed the process of payment of fees online by 7:45 pm. DU First Cut-off 2021 for all courses and colleges were released by DU on October 1, 2021, on its official website; i.e. du.ac.in. This year eight colleges have set up a perfect score of 100%, making the competition even tougher.  

Delhi University Admissions 2021: Guidelines for DU UG merit-based admission 2021

Candidates are advised to check the guidelines for DU UG Admissions 2021 below applying:

• Candidates must recheck their marks/percentages and eligibility criteria before applying
• Ascertaining percentage in a specific cut-off for a programme in a college
• Candidates must ensure that their best of four/three fall within the cutoff they are applying for admission. For example, if the first cut-off of a certain programme  and the college is 98 per cent, and, second cut-off for the same programme  and college is 98.25 per cent. Then to apply for the said programme and College in the second Cutoff, Best Four must be greater than equal to 97.25 per cent but less than 98 per cent
• Candidates can choose only one course and college during a particular cutoff. Candidates can not select multiple courses and colleges in a particular cutoff
• Candidates will not be allowed to change a course or college during a particular cut-off
• Selection of programme  and College can be made only through the candidate’s own dashboard
• Owing to COVID-19, no physical visit to the Colleges/ University during the admission process is allowed
• The procedure for choosing the programme and the college by candidates must be finished within the given deadline as notified in the schedule

DU Admission 2021: How to apply

Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for DU Admissions 2021:

• Go to the official website of DU; du.ac.in
• Login and generate DU admission form
• Fill the online admission form
• Upload scanned documents for online verification; Check the list of documents required for DU Admissions 2021 here
• Once the document is verified and admission is confirmed, candidates will have to log in again and pay the admission fee using the link activated under their login
• Once the fee is submitted, the admission will be confirmed
