DU Admissions 2023: Delhi University launches CSAS portal for UG, PG, PhD, Btech admissions
Eligible students seeking DU admission 2023 have to register through the DU CSAS official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
DU Admissions 2023 begins! The University of Delhi has launched the Common Seat Allocation System, CSAS portal 2023 for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions. While the varsity conducted DU UG admissions 2023 via CUET Scores through the CSAS portal, this is the first time the varsity will conduct DU PG Admissions 2023 through CUET. The university is offering 71,000 seats for 78 UG programmes, vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh said during an official press conference. Eligible students seeking DU admission 2023 have to register through the DU CSAS official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in. DU CSAS registration will begin in the last week of June and the first seat allocation result will be declared in the second week of July. The academic session is slated to begin from August 16, the DU VC said. During the CSAS admission portal launch, the DU VC Yogesh Singh said that it offered 1,553 subject combinations for UG admission and that this year the College of Arts will also be included in CSAS seat allocation. He also noted that 1.38 lakh students showed interest in the university’s flagship programme BCom (Hons) this year.

DU officials asked students to enter the Class 12 marks carefully, as it will be the only medium breaking merit ties, if any. Students can now start DU admission registration by paying an application fee of INR 250 if belonging to general category and INR 100 for SC, ST categories. As per the DU PG admission 2023, Delhi University will be offering 13,500 seats for 77 PG programmes. MA Political Science is the most preferred course, he said. An additional Rs 100 should be paid for supernumerary seats.
DU SOL, NCWEB Admissions 2023 Begin
Delhi University has commenced admissions to the Bachelor's programs of the School of Open Learning and Non-Collegiate women's education board based on the merit of marks obtained in Class XII. CUET is not required for DU SOL, NCWB admissions 2023. The last date to submit applications is August 31, 2023. Full fee will be refunded if students takes admission to regular program of DU. Only INR 500 processing fee will be deducted.
DU BTech Admissions 2023 through JEE Mains
Delhi University is all set to offer BTech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering; Electronics and Communication Engineering; and Electrical Engineering. A total of 360 students will be admitted under these, with 120 students for each BTech programme. Admissions will be done based on the JEE Mains score. The course structure, credit distribution and syllabi for the first two semesters of the programme have been finalised. Registration Fees for DU BTech Admissions 2023 will be INR 1500.
DU Admissions 2023: 1 male and 1 female seat to be given to orphan children
Under DU Admissions 2023 to Supernumerary Quotas, the varsity has decided to offer one male and one female seat to orphan children. Other Supernumerary Quota include:
- Person with Benchmark Disability
- Children/ widow of the personnel of the Armed forces
- Kashmiri Migrant
- Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme for J&K students.
- Nomination of Seats for Sikhimese Studenst
- Orphans
